The Dana Alliance for Brain Initiatives and the Dana Foundation's award-winning Web site offers a wealth of current and useful information and materials about the brain and brain research. You are one click away from downloadable Dana Press and Dana Alliance publications; sites that provide descriptions and information about common brain diseases and disorders; educational resources for parents and teachers, including downloadable puzzles, quizzes, and graphics; and links to the international Brain Awareness Week Web site of the Dana Alliance.

The Dana Alliance and the Dana Foundation encourage all BAW partners to use www.dana.org as a year-round resource for the latest news and information about the brain and brain research. What can WWW.DANA.ORG provide?

BrainWork: The Neuroscience Newsletter, a bi-monthly publication for the general public.

The Brain in the News, a monthly tabloid reprinting brain-related articles from major newspapers. Summaries of The Brain in the News stories are available online.

The Dana BrainWeb, a service for patients, families, and caregivers of those with a brain disorder or disease, offers links to other Internet sites with validated current information useful for the lay person. Covering 25 common brain diseases and disorders, these links provide the latest research, treatment options, support for families and caregivers, and sources of more information.

Dana Sourcebook of Brain Science: Resources for Secondary and Post-Secondary Teachers and Students (Second Edition) includes an introduction to brain science; essays by members of the Dana Alliance for Brain Initiatives on key topics and advances in brain research; suggestions for teacher/student activities, lesson plans, quizzes, and class discussions; a guide to resources on the brain, in both electronic and print form; a glossary of key brain science terms; and an annotated bibliography of the best brain books available for the lay reader.

Brainy Kids Online offers children, parents, and teachers a site with activities for younger children, puzzles, links to excellent educational resources about the brain, and lesson plan suggestions.

Brain Resources for Seniors provides older adults and caregivers with links to resources related to brain health, education, and general sources of information.

Brain Connections, a source guide to organizations offering information on brain diseases and disorders.

Immunology in the News, a quarterly tabloid that reprints articles focusing on brain and immune system interaction.

Visions of the Brain: Update Series, a progress report on brain research, published annually, offers an authoritative review of the previous year’s most significant neuroscience findings.
